Hey People! Its been an amazing first week on the Hank III/Turley West Coast Tour. We started off this monster with a SOLD OUT show at the House of Blues in New Orleans! Both groups played bad ass sets. The crowd was insane. Big Rob’s (bass) hair was in full swing. Matt Heasley’s (keys/organ) family was in tow for full support. Kyle Turley laid waste to his loyal fans in his Saint’s hometown.

Both Houston and San Antonio were both filled to capacity. The crowds are definitely getting wilder as the tour rolls westward. A day off in Austin gave us all the much needed rest and down time a band needs to recharge the engines. SXSW was just getting underway and the streets were lined with all kinds of music junkies. The show at Emo’s was another SOLD OUT affair. Turley Band was on all cylinders and showed just how powerful this band really is. Crowd response was intense and the band took it in. Merch man Ben “Ruufee” Ruoff has been working his ASS off selling massive amounts of Turley CD’s and shirts to the won over fans. I dont know that an opening band has done so well on an inaugural tour. THANK YOU AUSTIN!!!

Next to come was Ft. Worth at the Ridglea Theater. A beautiful venue, Ft. Worth showed up and SOLD OUT the show once again. Probably the best crowd yet, both bands raised each others bar for show stamina and prowess. Hell was raised when Hank II and Assjack demolished the entire venue. We watch this band EVERY NIGHT in amazement. There is NOTHING like them!!!!!

Next up…Amarillo, TX! The Midnight Rodeo. Stay tuned for updates, setlists, reviews, pics, unruly topics, meanderings, cussing, and what not!
